Program Overview


Introduction to the Program

The program in question is the "Kunst og kontekst I" module, which is part of the Bachelor's degree in Kunst og Teknologi (Art and Technology) at Aalborg University.


Module Content, Progression, and Pedagogy

This module provides an introduction to relevant art and media art theories, as well as aesthetic theories from various research disciplines and traditions. Examination

Exams

The exam for this module is based on active participation and continuous evaluation. Active participation in the module's lecture series and other subject-related activities is required. This includes reading obligatory literature, participating in 80% of the module's lectures and other subject-related activities, contributing to the module's discussions through presentations, and actively participating in discussions, as well as submitting all assignments.


If a student does not meet the requirements for active participation, a re-examination is held in the form of an internal written exam in the module "Kunst og kontekst I." The exam is a bounded assignment with a duration of seven days. The assignment is assessed by one examiner. The scope of the written work must not exceed 10 pages.
