Program Overview


AAU Modules

The module provides an introduction to various approaches to developing projects with a focus on play, event, and experience design. Additionally, it introduces students to mobile technologies and their application in participatory events.

  • Various technologies and their application in participatory projects and events

The student will acquire skills in:


  • Developing and describing concepts for play- and game-based projects and events
  • Incorporating technologies into artistic formats within play-based projects and events
  • Using play and games as strategies for participant involvement

The student will acquire competences in:


  • Designing, implementing, and reflecting on play- and game-based projects and events
  • Identifying and reflecting on play and games as a strategy for participant involvement within other subject areas

Teaching Methods

The module will use group work in relation to the subject's activities.


Examination

Exams

The exam consists of active participation and ongoing evaluation. Active participation in the module's lecture series and other subject-related activities is required.

  • Scope: The written work must not exceed 10 pages
