Program Overview
Introduction to the Bachelor's Degree in Internet Technologies and Computer Engineering
The Bachelor's degree in Internet Technologies and Computer Engineering is a 3-year research-based full-time program. The program is normed to 180 ECTS and is offered at the Aalborg University.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, applicants must have a upper secondary school diploma with specific requirements:
- Danish A
- English B
- Mathematics A
- Physics B or Geoscience A
All subjects must be passed.
Program Structure
The program is modular and is structured as a problem-based study. Each module has a specific number of ECTS points and is concluded with one or more exams within specific exam periods.

Examination and Assessment
Examinations are conducted in accordance with the Examination Order. The program includes various forms of examination, such as written and oral exams, project evaluations, and assessments of student performance.
Language Requirements
It is expected that students can read academic texts in modern Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, and English, as well as use reference works in other European languages.
Commencement of Studies Exam
The Commencement of Studies Exam is not ECTS-awarding and will not appear on the exam certificate. The purpose of the exam is to confirm whether students have actually commenced their studies. Students must participate in and pass the exam to continue their studies.
Overarching Regulations
The program is subject to the rules and regulations of the Aalborg University, including the Examination Order and the rules for problem-based learning.
Revision of the Curriculum
The curriculum will be revised no later than 5 years after its entry into force.
