Program Overview
The Public Administration DPA program is a doctoral-level degree that requires a comprehensive portfolio submission, including:
- Educational and professional goals statement (minimum 600 words)
- Three Letters of recommendation
- A professional writing sample for which the applicant was sole author
- Evidence of significant work experience in public affairs field
Admission Requirements
Applicants are encouraged, but not required, to submit GRE scores as part of their portfolios. An interview may be required. The minimum requirements for admission include:
- Completed master's degree
- Minimum cumulative graduate GPA of 3.25
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fit between applicant's educational aspirations and faculty expertise
