Graduate Certificates
The university offers two graduate certificates in the field of cybersecurity: Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Administration and Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Management. These online degrees allow students to participate in dynamic, diverse, and interactive online learning communities and to complete their degrees via the Internet.
Program Overview
The online format enables students to complete coursework using the latest networked information technologies for increased access to educational resources, advisors, and materials with no on-campus visits required. The online degree follows the same curriculum as the on-campus degree.
Cybersecurity Management - Graduate Certificate
- Students must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and meet campus requirements for admission to graduate study.
- Candidates for the certificate will be expected to complete course requirements with a grade of B (3.0) or better (a grade of B- or lower is not acceptable).
- No required courses can be transferred into the graduate certificate, however, pre-requisite courses may be with program approval.
- Department Chair: Yes, all admissions are conditional until prerequisites are completed.
Cybersecurity Administration - Graduate Certificate
- Students must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and meet campus requirements for admission to graduate study.
- Candidates for the certificate will be expected to complete course requirements with a grade of C (2.0) or better (a grade of C- or lower is not acceptable) and a cumulative B (3.0) GPA across the curriculum.
- No required courses can be transferred into the graduate certificate, however, pre-requisite courses may be with program approval.
- Department Chair: Yes, all admissions are conditional until prerequisites are completed.
Admission Criteria
- Full admission to master's level studies may be granted to those who have earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.50 on a 4.0 scale.
- Students whose native language is not English must meet the Basic Entrance Requirements for English Language Proficiency.
General Requirements
- Students must compete an application to the university and have official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended submitted to the Office of Admissions.
