The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Research Areas

• The "Resilience Economics and Sustainable Transitions" Centre at the Department of Economics focuses on research related to disaster risk and sustainable transitions.
• The Department of Psychology conducts research in various areas, including non-visual effects of blue light on sleep, mood, and cognition in fit and frail seniors.
• The School of Medicine conducts research in areas such as microglia, oxidative stress, and aging, as well as ageing and proprioception.

Facilities

• The University has state-of-the-art laboratories in Nicosia, Cyprus, which significantly expand the University's physical and educational presence on the island.

International Collaborations

• The University participates in international collaborations, such as the EU-funded LEAN project (Erasmus+), which brings together universities from Europe and Asia to discuss transitioning healthcare education into the new digital era.
