Program Overview

The Postgraduate Program in Ethnomusicology and Music Practice is offered by the Department of Music Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.


Program Description

The program focuses on the execution and interpretation of traditional and folk music. It aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter and equip them with the necessary skills to excel in their field.


Program Structure

The program consists of four academic semesters, including the time required for the preparation of a dissertation. Students must attend and pass all the courses offered by the program and complete a postgraduate dissertation, accumulating a total of 120 ECTS.
