The seminar is addressed to students interested in music theory and analysis of the classical period repertoire. Specifically, the subject of this seminar will be the sinfonie concertanti composed by Johann Christian Bach for various solo instruments and orchestra, mainly during the 1770s, in conjunction with theories about the musical form of that era and later.
