ZIF-Zertifikat
The ZIF-Zertifikat is a certificate that can be obtained by students who complete specific courses in the area of psychology and law. This certificate is awarded in interdisciplinary cooperation between the departments of psychology, law, and forensic psychiatry. The Zentrum f¸r interdisziplin‰re Forensik (ZiF) is responsible for the issuance and recognition of the certificate.
- The certificate is designed to demonstrate a student's focus on psychology and law in their curriculum vitae.
- In the past, students in the M.Sc. Psychology program with a focus on applied psychology could also obtain a more comprehensive certificate, "Psychologie und Recht," which included the ZIF-Zertifikat and additional law-related courses in the master's program.
- For students who did not complete their bachelor's degree in Mainz, an additional requirement was the attendance of the lecture "Rechtspsychologie" or equivalent courses.
Master's Program with a Focus on Rechtspsychologie
The Master's program with a focus on Rechtspsychologie is sufficient to demonstrate expertise and can exempt students from 50% of the theoretical content in the advanced training program for Fachpsychologen Rechtspsychologie.
