Introduction to the Botanical Garden of Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz
The Botanical Garden of Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz is a vibrant institution dedicated to the preservation and study of plant life. Schokoladenwerkstatt (Chocolate Workshop)
This interactive workshop is designed for children from the 3rd grade onwards. Participants will learn about the origins of cocoa beans, the process of chocolate production, and the environmental and social impact of the chocolate industry.
- Target Group: Children from the 3rd grade onwards
- Duration: Approximately 3 hours
- Cost: 3.00 Euro per student, with a minimum charge of 60 Euro per group
Grüne Schule (Green School)
The Grüne Schule offers a variety of educational programs and activities, including:
- Courses for school classes, tailored to different age groups (1st-4th grade, 5th-7th grade, 8th-10th grade, and 11th-13th grade)
- Global learning initiatives, such as the "Coffee - the long way from brown gold" and "Chocolate workshop" programs
- Sensory courses and holiday programs for children
- Adult education programs, including teacher training and "Studieren 50 Plus" (a program for individuals over 50)
