CRiSS - Contemporary Research in Social Sciences
The CRiSS program presents a diverse range of research topics in the social sciences, including twin research, youth in war, conspiracy mentality, care, deciphering intelligence, terrorism, home visits by teachers, psychological warfare, mental health, children's sports, and political rhetoric. This program is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Media, and Sport at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
Program Description
CRiSS is a recurring lecture series that takes place every summer semester. Members from all disciplines within the faculty, including communication science, education science, political science, psychology, school science, sociology, and sports science, present their current research projects. The lectures are held in English to facilitate international exchange with international students and guest scholars.
Program Schedule
The CRiSS lecture series takes place every Wednesday during the summer semester from 16:15 to 17:45.
Admission and Registration
Registration for the CRiSS lecture is possible through Jogustine for regular JGU students and RMU students. Exchange students can register by providing their matriculation number and the name of the course they wish to attend ("CRiSS: Lecture" or "CRiSS: Lecture + Tutorial").
