- An Abi-Bac (simultaneous acquisition of the general higher education entrance qualification and the French Baccalauréat)
- Academic background:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Komparatistik, European Literature, French Philology) or
- A degree that does not significantly differ from the mentioned fields
- English language proficiency:
- Reading proficiency in English, to be proven in a translation exam during the first semester if not already demonstrated
