Program Overview

The Master's program in Deutsch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache (German as a Foreign and Second Language) is offered by the Herder-Institut at the University of Leipzig.

Application Procedure

Selection Procedure

The Master's program in Deutsch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache is not subject to restrictions, but the Herder-Institut's selection committee reviews the applications to ensure that the formal requirements are met. After reviewing the applications, the committee may invite applicants to a 20-minute selection interview. The interview can be conducted via phone or video conference for applicants who are abroad.
