The B.A. Plus West Slavic Languages, Literatures, and Cultures is a study program variant that adds additional learning content and objectives to the B.A. West Slavic Languages, Literatures, and Cultures program. This is achieved through an integrated year abroad, which aims to deepen and expand intercultural learning.

Study Content

The B.A. Plus West Slavic Languages, Literatures, and Cultures program includes an integrated year abroad, where students can take elective modules from the following areas:

• Polish/Czech as a foreign language
• Media science/journalism
• Political science/international relations
• History
• Cultural science
• Literary science The second semester abroad also includes a career-related internship.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the program, applicants must have a high school diploma or a recognized equivalent. Applications can be submitted every year until September 15th.

Program Duration and Start

The program starts every winter semester and lasts for eight semesters.

Master's Program Offers

The institute offers a follow-up Master's program in Slawistik (M.A. Slawistik) after completing the Bachelor's degree.
