Program Overview
University Program Information
The university is offering a new language course in Ukrainisch for students of all disciplines, starting from the winter semester 2025/26. This course is made possible through the cooperation of the Sprachenzentrum with the Institut f³r Slavistik.
Course Details
- The course, titled "Ukrainisch 1," corresponds to the GER-Stufe A1 and is designed for beginners with no prior knowledge of the language.
- Module enrollment will take place starting from September 29, 2025, in TOOL.
- The course will continue with Ukrainisch A2 in the summer semester 2026.
- Lecture dates and rooms will be published in the course catalog.
Assessment and Certification
- Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of participation that includes a description of the competency goals, the grade of the module examination, and the workload of 6 SWS (300 hours), equivalent to 10 LP.
- Students can apply for recognition of the module by the examination committee of their study program. The Sprachenzentrum explicitly supports the recognition of language competencies.
- In the medium term, it is planned to integrate Ukrainisch into the regular module offer of the Sprachenzentrum, allowing students to acquire the UNIcert «-Zertifikat der Stufe Basis f³r Ukrainisch after successfully completing the courses Ukrainisch A1 and Ukrainisch A2.

- The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Ukrainisch language, starting from the basics and progressing to more advanced levels.
- The inclusion of Ukrainisch in the regular module offer of the Sprachenzentrum aims to provide students with a structured and recognized path to achieving language proficiency in Ukrainisch.
