Introduction to the Program

The University of Leipzig offers a comprehensive program in "K顤per Stimme Kommunikation" (KSK), which is an essential part of the teacher training program. Program Structure

The KSK program consists of two modules: KSK I and KSK II.


  • KSK I has a scope of 3 LP and includes weekly group exercises and three individual lectures.
  • KSK II has a scope of 2 LP and offers advanced and in-depth exercises based on the foundational course (KSK I).

Admission Requirements

A phoniatric certificate is a prerequisite for admission to the teacher training program. Students can enroll in KSK I from the second semester onwards, although the recommended enrollment semester varies depending on the type of teaching degree being pursued:


  • Higher education teaching degree or teaching degree at secondary schools: from the 2nd or 3rd semester
  • Teaching degree at primary schools: from the 5th semester
  • Special needs teaching degree: from the 2nd semester
  • Teaching degree at vocational schools: from the 6th semester

The program covers various aspects of voice and communication, including:


  • Development of a healthy and resilient voice
