About the Master of Clinical Psychology
The program covers areas such as cognitive behavioural therapy, child and adolescent mental health, psychopathology, counselling skills, psychological assessment and treatment, and advanced psychotherapy process skills. Students will also explore the ethical and professional issues associated with work in this field, and develop skills in writing professional-standard assessment reports suitable for a range of referral agencies or contexts.

Work-Based Learning
The program includes compulsory placements (Work-Based Learning) designed to allow students to practice newly acquired skills, behaviours, and knowledge while integrating theory with practice.
Course and Career Outcomes
The Master of Clinical Psychology is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC), and graduates may be eligible to apply for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) as a psychologist. Specialist endorsement as a clinical psychologist with the PsyBA is subject to additional registrar requirements beyond completion of the degree.

The estimated course fees for domestic postgraduate students are $38,000 per 120 credit points. Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) may be available, with an indicative CSP price of $4,738 per 120 credit points.

How to Apply
The application process can vary depending on the course. Most postgraduate courses generally take 15 to 20 minutes to apply for. Students can apply for up to two postgraduate courses and may be eligible for advanced standing or credit for previous study.
