The Bachelor of Commerce is a practical and flexible degree, with core courses designed to give students a thorough overview of business and commerce environments, before they specialize in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
Degree Overview
When students study a commerce degree, they will be equipped to make a smooth transition from the classroom to the boardroom, by acquiring skills that employers value. A sense of global citizenship is imparted through international case studies and cross-cultural analysis. Course Overview

Electives
Students must complete 90 units of electives to fulfill the requirements of the program. Electives can be used to extend and complement core studies with more courses in the same field of study, or from areas that might be of interest to them.
Career-Ready Placements
Students will complete 140 hours of supervised placement within their third year of study that will enable them to apply knowledge developed throughout their studies and acquire new knowledge and professional networks to support career readiness.
Accreditation
Exemptions may apply for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for students who complete the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting major). Students must complete the units set out in the CPA and CA Australia and New Zealand accreditation requirements in order to meet the academic requirements for Associate membership of CPA Australia and enrollment in the CPA Program, and for enrollment in the Chartered Accountants Program of CA Australia and New Zealand.
