About Program

Program Overview

Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Science

The combined Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Science will equip students with the knowledge to be at the forefront of environmental conversations and have an impact on health and quality of life. This program combines the foundations of science, chemistry, geomechanics, and hydrology to find solutions to complex environmental problems.

Degree Overview

The health and future of the planet continue to take centre stage in global conversations. Environmental engineers learn to work with other specialists to optimize resource use and minimize long-term impacts on the environment. Students will combine the foundations of science, chemistry, geomechanics, and hydrology to find solutions to complex environmental problems.

Career Opportunities

With this combined degree, students could go on to work in a wide range of industries in government, research and development, or consultancy work. Roles are flexible and diverse, and students may prefer hands-on fieldwork or design and development, or a leadership role managing people and projects.

Professional Outcomes

Possible career paths include:

  • Water Reclamation Project Designer
  • Environmental Remediation Expert
  • Environmental Impact Consultant
  • Toxic Materials Control Engineer
  • Sustainable Fisheries Consultant
  • Climate Impact Assessment Expert
