The Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Science combined degree is designed for individuals interested in understanding the world around them and how it works. Mechatronics engineering is concerned with the synergy of electrical, computer, and mechanical technologies that lead to new solutions to industrial problems.

This program is for those who are interested in understanding the world around us and how it works. Mechatronics engineering is concerned with the synergy of electrical, computer and mechanical technologies that lead to new solutions to industrial problems. Mechatronics engineers are involved in the technical design, automation and operational performance of the electromechanical systems used in industries such as defence, advanced manufacturing, mining and health.

- Eligibility for admission to this program is based on applicants meeting the minimum selection rank, or satisfying the requirements for an approved admission scheme.

- Sub test minimum: 6 All Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the University's English proficiency requirement.

- HSC Mathematics Extension 1
- Study of one science-related subject would also be an advantage (Physics preferred)
Professional Accreditation
The program is accredited by the Australian professional engineer's association, Engineers Australia. Graduates of this program are able to join as graduate members on completion, and as student members during studies.
Career-Ready Placements
Requirements for qualification of this award include completion of at least 12 weeks of industrial experience of a nature acceptable to the College Board.
Program Requirements
The Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Science is a five-year program, students are required to complete 400 units, which is comprised of:

- 80 units of courses for the Physics major
