Animals and Philosophy (PHIL*2080)

  • Instructor: Stefan Linquist This course examines the concept of the animal itself, the nature of animal minds, the importance of species membership, and the relationship between human and non-human animals. It discusses applied issues related to animal welfare, wildlife, agriculture, experimentation, and the environment, as well as ethical, social, political, and feminist perspectives on animals.
