UG Field Course

The 2025 Fall Undergraduate Fall Field Course in the Madawaska Valley is a research-based course where students are organized into teams to conduct field research and analyze issues concerning the residents. The course structure includes in-school orientation, background preparation, and four days of data collection in the Madawaska region. The residential component features guest lectures and interaction with stakeholders from the region. Students participate in various field components, exploring areas such as water quality, steam gauging, shoreline surveys, and interviews.
