Introduction to the Program

The Program of Postgraduate Studies in Biological Sciences Physiology was accredited by CAPES (Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) in December 1996, at the levels of Master's and Doctoral degrees, leading to the title of Master in Biological Sciences (Physiology) and Doctor in Sciences, with academic and technical-scientific quality. The Program has a note of 7 in CAPES and has been an important source of qualified professionals for teaching and research.
