Introduction to the Specialization in Gynecology Program

The Specialization in Gynecology program is designed for graduates in Medicine, offering a comprehensive course to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of gynecology.

Program Details

• The program duration is ten months, with a total of 2660 hours per student.
• The program has ten available spots for qualified candidates.
• Interested candidates must submit their applications by the 31st of the month.

Admission Requirements

• Candidates must present an official document or a recognized copy of their Certificate of Graduation in Medicine or a Declaration of Completion of the current course for the year.
• A photocopy of the Academic Record of Graduation is required.
• An official document and a copy of the "Curriculum Vitae" must be provided.
• Two letters of introduction and two 3x4 photos are necessary.
• The absence of any of these documents will result in the non-realization of the registration.

Selection Process

• The selection process consists of two phases: a written test and an interview.
• The written test will be held on February 17th and will include 50 multiple-choice questions (35 specific to the area of gynecology and 15 on general knowledge of Medical Clinic) and a dissertation question with a maximum of three pages.
• The dissertation question will address a single topic in Gynecology, drawn on the day of the test by one of the candidates.
• Only candidates who obtain a score of 5 or higher in the written test will be eligible for the interview, which will take place on February 24th.
• Each approved candidate in the written exam will draw a subject on the eve of the interview, also on Gynecology, and the interviewed candidates will speak on different topics.

Program Location

The Secretariat of Postgraduate Studies in Gynecology is located at Rua Moncorvo Filho, number 90, second floor, Centro Rio de Janeiro. The registration hours are from 8:00 to 13:00.
