Aims and Content

Learning Outcomes

The module aims to provide students with a description of the main structural elements that compose reinforced concrete and steel structures, as well as an overview of the code's prescriptions for the constructions. The contents of the module will be illustrated using simple case studies to understand the basics of design and the challenges of actual implementation on construction sites.


Aims and Learning Outcomes

This module aims to provide knowledge of the design and verification criteria proposed in the technical codes, currently in force, related to the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures. At the end of the module, the student will be able to know and apply the principles and normative references for the design and verification of the main structural elements and their representation in graphic tables and drafting of reports.
