The program in Education, E-Learning, and Long-Term Education in Rehabilitation is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan and conduct effective rehabilitation lessons, both in face-to-face mode and through distance learning tools.
Aims and Content
The program aims to develop the theoretical knowledge and skills necessary to effectively plan and conduct a lesson, both in face-to-face mode and through distance learning tools. The course covers topics such as:
- The concepts of Relevance, Relatedness, Task-value applied to teaching
- The techniques of effective lesson management
- The basic notions of Public-Speech
- Elements of designing and building a presentation
- E-Learning, definition, advantages and disadvantages
- The construction of E-learning lessons
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, students must demonstrate that they are able to:
- Apply the concepts of Relevance, Relatedness, Task-value to the teaching
- Conduct a lesson effectively
- Apply the basic notions of Public Speech
- Build a presentation effectively
- Know the definition of E-Learning, the advantages and disadvantages
- Build effective E-learning lessons
Teaching Methods
The teaching is carried out with lectures, exercises in small groups, and guided discussions. Students with special educational needs are encouraged to contact the teachers to agree on teaching methods that take into account individual learning methods.

The course covers the following topics:
- The concepts of Relevance, Relatedness, Task-value applied to teaching
- The techniques of effective lesson management
- The basic notions of Public-Speech
- Elements of designing and building a presentation
- E-Learning, definition, advantages and disadvantages
- The construction of E-learning lessons
- Discussion of lessons designed and presented in small groups by the students
Recommended Reading/Bibliography
The teacher will provide slides and handouts relating to the lessons to support the preparation of the exam. Further in-depth materials may be recommended during the lessons.

The course is taught by Marco Testa, and the exam board consists of Marco Testa, Francesca Riccardi, and Laura Bonzano.
Lessons
The lessons start in March and end in July. The class schedule will be provided separately.
Exams
The exam is oral or oral/written and aims to evaluate the student's knowledge of the topics covered in the module. Details on how to prepare for the exam and the degree of depth of each topic will be communicated during the lessons. The exam schedule is as follows:
