The First Aid program is designed for medical students, aiming to equip them with the necessary skills for clinical assessment and basic treatment of patients in emergency situations.

The program focuses on imparting knowledge and practical skills to students, enabling them to:
- Understand the principles of first aid and the organization of the emergency medical system
- Recognize and manage medical and traumatic emergency conditions
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use semi-automated external defibrillators (AED)
- Apply principles of rescue safety and standardized protocols
Teaching Methods
The course consists of 18 hours of theoretical lectures and practical exercises in small groups, with a focus on hands-on training for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other emergency procedures.

The program covers a range of topics, including:
- Approach to patients with trauma, dyspnea, chest pain, neurological impairment, and intoxication
- Airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Rescue in challenging environments and management of cardiac arrest
- Basic Life Support (BLS-D) training

Assessment Methods
Learning assessment is based on a final written exam consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions, as well as participation in the BLS-D practical exercise.
