Aims and Content
Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the acquisition of knowledge on international methodologies identified by technical-scientific field and used by the industrial, inspection and control world in order to verify and guarantee the safety of the agri-food chain to interested parties. Knowledge will be provided on the main voluntary reference rules, based on the standards of International Standardization Committees (ISO), private groupings of stakeholders (British Retail Consortium, International Food Standard etc) as well as on Community Regulations applicable as certification reference (Organic, MOCA). Knowledge of basic techniques and skills to be acquired to plan, perform and report first, second and third party audits will be provided; the sharing and control mechanisms of the international and national "Certification System" and the traceability network of this type of activity will be clarified.
