The course aims at providing methods and tools for studying both electrical circuits and electronic circuits by using proper techniques and descriptive models of electronic components.

Exams

Exam Description

The exam consists of two different parts, each one related to the specific module of the course. The exam related to the "Module of circuit theory" includes a written test followed by an oral test, while the "Module of Electronics" consists of a written test eventually followed by an oral test.


Assessment Methods

  • For the "Module of Circuit Theory", the written tests address the solution of a DC circuit and of an AC circuit.
  • For the "Module of Electronics", the written test addresses the solution of three different exercises, related to circuits with diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers.
