AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course aims to provide theoretical and methodological knowledge of group psychology in a psychosocial perspective, with particular attention to research and intervention strategies for the development and promotion of wellbeing in different educational contexts. The aim is to foster the development of the ability to read and manage group dynamics, of a critical sense, and the ability to face the challenges posed by the promotion of well-being both at an individual and group level.


AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course provides basic notions of group psychology and focuses on the promotion of well-being at individual and group levels. Through individual study, attendance, and participation in training activities, students will acquire theoretical and methodological knowledge, apply their knowledge to solve problems, and develop independent assessment skills.

  • Groups in the social psychology perspective
  • Socialization and group development processes
  • Dynamic phenomena of group life
  • The main theory on leadership
  • The principles of cohesion, conflict, and group negotiation
  • The working group (objective, method, coordination, team work)
  • Stress, burnout, motivation, and promotion of individual and group well-being
