Aims and Content
Learning Outcomes
The course aims to present the basics of information management, with a particular focus on database analysis and design. It also provides students with tools and programs to implement databases, discussing the general methodology for creating databases on PCs and the Web, including query language and design techniques.
Aims and Learning Outcomes
Students are expected to acquire adequate knowledge of digital information management and an effective understanding of database analysis and design methodologies. They should be able to apply the acquired knowledge to understand and solve information management problems related to the use of databases.

Exams
Exam Description
The exam consists of a written test and a practical test with a related oral discussion of a small self-made project.
Assessment Methods
The exam is divided into two parts: a written test and the presentation of a project that will be discussed with the lecturer. The written test verifies the acquisition of theoretical basics and analytical skills, while the practical test verifies the acquisition of operational skills and knowledge of the most appropriate computer tools.
