The pathological basis of the most common diseases of the common clinical course.


Aims and Content

Aims and Learning Outcomes

The learning outcomes of the pathology section are to focus on the morphogenesis and pathology changes of the main diseases covered in the clinical course.


Teaching Methods

Lectures. Any student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD representative in the department before class begins, in order to liaise and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.

  • Carcinoma basocellulare e spinocellulare dell'epidermide. Lesioni preneoplastiche e fattori di rischio.
  • Nevi e melanomi: fattori di rischio, criteri classificativi, aspetti morfologici, correlazioni isto-prognostiche e storia naturale
  • Generalità sulle osteomieliti e sull'osteoporosi
  • Patologia infiammatoria e degenerative delle articolazioni

  • Basal cell carcinoma and spindle cell carcinoma: risk factors and morphological precursors.
  • Nevi and malignant melanoma: risk factors, classification, morphological abnormalities, prognostic factors, and natural history.
  • Osteomyelitis and osteoporosis.
