Medical Specialization Schools
Medical Specialization Schools are university courses designed to train medical specialists in the medical field. At the end of the training program, students are awarded the title of specialist in the chosen sector.
Legislative Updates
As of November 1, 2006, the D.Lgs. 368/1999 introduced new regulations regarding medical specialists in training. In compliance with the new legislation, medical specialists sign a specific annual contract, known as a specialist training contract, which replaces the scholarship regulated by the previous D.Lgs. 257/1991.
