Presentation

The course covers the main pathological frameworks of the oral cavity, with particular attention to the physiopathological mechanisms that underlie them. During the course, students will learn to recognize the foundations of the main pathologies, integrating physiopathological study with clinical methodology for the diagnosis of the main disease frameworks.


Objectives and Contents

Educational Objectives

  • Provide students with the correct knowledge of current concepts of health and disease and their clinical relevance.
  • Teach the main elements of professional deontology: the correct doctor-patient relationship, correct relationships between colleagues, and the correct ergonomic organization of the dental work team.
  • Provide the essential elements and their correct sequence for a complete diagnostic sequence.
  • Provide basic knowledge on the main disciplines of odontostomatology and their areas of application, to be deepened in the subsequent subjects of the degree course.
