Presentation

This is an integrated course that includes 5 disciplinary modules:

• Neurology (systematic)
• Neurosurgery
• Neurorehabilitation II
• Methodology and techniques of rehabilitation in Neurology
• Updates on methodologies and techniques in Neurological Rehabilitation

Objectives and Contents

Formative Objectives

To be able to describe, evaluate, and execute tests in typical clinical pictures affecting the nervous system, to know the applications of instrumental investigation techniques, to develop knowledge of the etiology, pathogenesis, and clinic of the most important pathologies affecting the central and peripheral nervous system. To be able to evaluate a person affected by disability concurrent with a nervous system lesion and to execute evaluation tests and functional recovery techniques consistent with the rehabilitation of the neurolesioned person, with particular reference to EBP and the person's needs and ICF.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of the Anatomy and Physiology of the CNS and PNS

Teaching Methods

Lessons take place in the 2nd semester of the 2nd year through frontal lessons that can use slide projections.
