Introduction to Maritime Science and Technology
The Maritime Science and Technology program is a three-year undergraduate course offered by the University of Genoa. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the maritime industry, including navigation, engineering, and management.

The navigation curriculum covers the competencies specified in sections A-II/1 and A-II/2 of the STCW Convention, while the engineering curriculum covers the competencies specified in sections A-III/1, A-III/2, and A-III/6.

Curriculum
The program consists of 180 CFU, with 45 CFU dedicated to basic activities and 135 CFU dedicated to characterizing activities. The program includes a period of training on board ships, which can be replaced by a internship in a maritime company.
