The educational objectives of this course include:

• Knowing the principles of research based on evidence of efficacy and the preparation of a research project.
• Understanding and applying the methodologies of applied research, with particular reference to the phases necessary for the conception, organization, and drafting of a research project.
• Comprehending the concept of quality of healthcare performances and services, as well as the main methodologies for its measurement and evaluation in healthcare contexts.
• Acquiring knowledge about structure, process, and outcome indicators in the healthcare field.
• Understanding the applications of the quality system in the biomedical research laboratory, with preparation of documentation for an Audit in reference to the ISO norm.
