Presentation
The purpose of this teaching is to provide students with a broad overview of the main logopedic interventions used with minors who have Primary Language Disorder (DPL). By the end of the course, students should have acquired:
- Adequate awareness of the main interventions used in minors with DPL
- Adequate knowledge of the characteristics of a good rehabilitation plan
- A basic knowledge of methodologies, tools, and rehabilitation procedures available for intervention in minors with DPL
- An understanding of current scientific evidence in the field of interventions for minors with DPL
- Basic competence in identifying, through clinical reasoning, the most appropriate rehabilitative tools to use based on the clinical picture, considering the age, severity, and characteristics of the minor, as well as their life context and health needs
Educational Methods
The course includes frontal lessons with group exercises. Students with certifications for Specific Learning Disorders (DSA), disabilities, or other educational needs are invited to contact the teacher and the reference person for disability at the beginning of the course to agree on any educational methods that, while respecting the objectives of the teaching, take into account individual learning modalities.
