The objectives of this course include:


  • Knowing the elements that characterize Bioethics and professional Deontology.
  • Learning the basic notions of the profession and knowing the history of Podiatry.
  • Understanding the relationships with other health professions.
  • Knowing the general principles of podiatric performances, being able to evaluate and consequently record on specific charts.
  • Learning the acts proper to the profession, materials, instrumentation, equipment, and methods used to achieve the competencies related to the formulation of a therapeutic protocol.
  • Understanding the principles of primary and specific prevention.
  • Learning to produce the necessary documentation for legislative purposes for quality control.

  • Gradual learning of professional basic notions with knowledge of the history of Podiatry.
  • Gradual learning of specific professional subjects and relationships with other health professions.
  • Knowledge of the general principles of podiatric performances through evaluation and consequent registration on specific charts.
  • Theoretical teaching of the acts proper to the profession, materials, instrumentation, equipment, and methods used to achieve the competencies related to the formulation of a therapeutic protocol.
  • Learning of the principles of primary and specific prevention.
