Educational Objectives

The educational objectives of this course include:


  • Knowing and being able to recognize and describe the peculiar aspects of the health condition in the elderly.
  • Knowing, from a rehabilitative point of view, the morbid conditions that occur with greater frequency in relation to aging.
  • Knowing the structural resources for the care of pathologies related to aging and for the management of the elderly in hospital discharge.
  • Knowing the principles and possible applications of health education campaigns and health education as a tool for promoting health and preventing diseases in the elderly.
  • Describing the main methodologies used in health education campaigns with reference to those mainly in place or planned in the territory.
