The course aims to present the principles and fundamental notions of the various branches of ecological sciences, providing the conceptual and methodological bases for understanding, studying, and managing ecosystems.


Detailed Educational Objectives and Learning Outcomes

The course aims to provide solid basic knowledge of the structure and functioning of natural systems, with particular emphasis on the mechanisms that determine the distribution and abundance of organisms and their relationships with the environment.
