Program Overview

ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT

The Economics and Management program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of economic and financial management principles.

Presentation

This course proposes basic knowledge for the economic and financial management of a company.

Objectives and Contents

Educational Objectives

The course proposes knowledge of economic models and managerial issues.

Detailed Educational Objectives and Learning Outcomes

The course proposes a multidisciplinary approach, comparing the deterministic microeconomic model with a managerial model focused on contingencies:

  • In the first case, it makes the implications of various forms of market explicit.
  • In the second case, it highlights the importance of defining the organizational tool and its management.

The expected outcome is an understanding of market dynamics and the identification of the most suitable solutions for managing business activities.

Didactic Methods

The teaching will take place mainly through frontal lessons and discussions in the classroom of case studies aimed at applying the contents in business contexts.

Students with certifications in progress for Specific Learning Disorders (DSA), disabilities, or other educational needs are invited to contact the teacher and the relevant offices at the beginning of the course to agree on any didactic methods that, in respect of the teaching objectives, take into account individual learning methods.

Working students are invited to contact the teacher at the beginning of the course to agree on any didactic methods and study material.
