Formative Objectives

The course aims to provide students with a thorough understanding of human geography, focusing on the pedagogical dimension and the educational values of the subject. Students will learn about models of territorial representation, issues related to the knowledge of society, and didactic tools for managing and evaluating educational paths.


Detailed Formative Objectives and Learning Outcomes

Through active participation in the proposed formative activities and individual study, students will acquire adequate knowledge of the main tools of human geography. This will enable them to develop critical skills regarding the primary conceptual categories of geography.


Teaching Methods

Program/Content

The program will cover the main models of geographical phenomena representation, from origins to contemporary times. It will delve into the principles of human geography, the relationship between human and cultural geography, population movements, characteristics of the world population, territorial economic structures, urban systems, and urban structures.
