The SPRACHTEST DEUTSCH program is designed to assess students' knowledge of the German language. The program aims to reinforce basic syntactic knowledge and expand vocabulary, enabling students to comprehend written texts in German at the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The online course provides extensive materials, including explanatory and practical exercises. Additionally, students can consult reference grammars, such as "Dies und Das. Grammatica di tedesco con esercizi" by Weerning/Mondello.

The program is taught by Professor Joachim Hans Bernd Gerdes, and the examination board consists of Professor Gerdes, Anna Giaufret, Laura Sanfelici, and Elisabetta Zurru.

Exam Format
The exam is computer-based and consists of a test implemented on the Aulaweb platform. The test assesses students' knowledge in syntax, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.
Exam Dates
There are four exam sessions per year, taking place in January, May, June, and September.
Additional Information
Students who possess a language certificate at the B1 level or higher, issued by an internationally recognized certifying body, may be exempt from taking the SPRACHTEST DEUTSCH exam. However, the certificate must not have been used for other purposes, and it must not be more than two years old. Students who meet these requirements should contact Professor Gerdes during his office hours.
