The course "EPIGRAFIA LATINA MODULO II" provides a comprehensive understanding of Latin epigraphy, enabling students to read, translate, and interpret Latin inscriptions. The course covers the theoretical and practical aspects of epigraphy, including the history of the discipline, the preparation of inscriptions, and the analysis of epigraphic texts.

Objectives
The primary objective of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to read, translate, and interpret Latin inscriptions. The course also aims to illustrate and analyze the historical, institutional, economic, social, and cultural aspects reflected in the content of each document.
Contents
The course is divided into two parts:
- Introduction to Latin epigraphy, including its definition, characteristics, and history.
- Reading, transcription, and commentary on a series of Latin inscriptions, with a focus on their importance for understanding the political, social, and economic life of the Roman world.
Prerequisites
A basic knowledge of Latin is required.
Teaching Methods
The course consists of lectures, seminars, and laboratory activities, including visits to museums and archaeological sites. Students are expected to participate in class discussions and engage in individual study.
