Program Overview
The Oncology course, part of the Chirurgia Ginecologica integrated course, focuses on teaching the clinical approach to oncology patients, particularly those with neoplasias of the female genital apparatus and breast neoplasia.
Objectives and Contents
Educational Objectives and Learning Outcomes
- Identify the most appropriate diagnostic pathways for patients with suspected malignant neoplasia.
- Define the clinical and pathological stage of the neoplasia.
- Understand the clinical and instrumental characteristics of breast neoplasia and its possible therapeutic implications.
- Know the clinical and instrumental characteristics of the main gynecological neoplasias (endometrium, cervix, ovary) and their possible therapeutic implications.
- Understand the issues related to the diagnosis of neoplasia during pregnancy and define the possible diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in this context.
- Know the issues related to fertility preservation during oncological treatments and define the possible procedures to propose to the patient.

Multiple-choice questions, where each correct question corresponds to a point.
The exam will allow verifying, through questions related to the various topics covered, the knowledge of the main neoplasias dealt with in the lessons, as well as the issues related to the relationship between fertility and oncological therapy and cancer/pregnancy.
