Detailed Objectives and Learning Outcomes

The course has the following objectives:

• Provide students with the basic elements for the methodology and analysis of organizational and management processes in the health sector
• Provide criteria and tools for evaluating the activities of companies operating within the National Health Service
• Provide theoretical foundations on quality standards in the health sector, the role of the National Agency for Regional Health Services, and the requirements for Authorization, Accreditation, and Accreditation of excellence of health facilities

At the end of the course, students will be able to know, describe, and analyze the functioning of a company's organization through the methodologies of analysis of organizational and management processes acquired.

Teaching Methods

The course consists of lectures with the aid of slides available on Aulaweb and discussions on topics of in-depth study.

1. Methodologies for analyzing organizational and management processes
2. Construction and evaluation of a PDTA
3. Organizational structure, operating mechanisms, production indicators, and process indicators
4. Lean management and Value-Based Healthcare
5. Quality in healthcare and the role of AGENAS
6. Authorization, Accreditation, and Accreditation of excellence of health facilities

Assessment Method
