Course Objectives

The course aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge in the field of pedagogy, focusing on the educational values of human geography. Students will learn about models of territorial representation, issues related to the knowledge of society, and didactic tools for managing and evaluating educational pathways.

Course Content

• Teaching Methods: Lectures with slide projections and video documentaries, analysis and discussion of case studies, and moments of debate on specific topics.
• Program/Content: The course will cover the main models of geographical phenomena representation, providing a basis for understanding spatial representations from their origins to the present day.
• Texts/Bibliography: Slides used during lessons and other teaching materials will be available on Aulaweb. Additional texts include "Geo-grafia. Strumenti e parole" by Agnese E. (2009) and alternative texts for non-attending students.

Examination Methods

• Examination Mode: Written exam with both closed (quiz) and open questions.
• Assessment Methods: The exam aims to verify the student's ability to use the main conceptual categories of human geography and acquire specific scientific vocabulary.
