Flexible Course Options
The program structure provides an opportunity to explore a range of construction-related disciplines prior to specializing in the final year. Students can transfer onto other programs, such as BSc Quantity Surveying, at the end of their second year if they wish to do so.
Placements
The university's successful placement scheme establishes a balance between outstanding academic achievements and relevant industrial experience. Between the second and final year, students have the option to carry out a paid industrial training placement, which can vary from four to sixteen weeks.
Scholarships
As part of the cohort joining the BSc Construction Management and Surveying course in 2026, students will have the opportunity to secure an annual Ł1,000 scholarship for each of the three years of the undergraduate degree (subject to conditions).
Learning
The first two years are designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of the disciplines that underpin construction management and the surveying professions. This includes subjects such as economics, law, and building technology, with a strong focus on project work and interdisciplinary collaboration.
