The BSc Construction Management and Surveying with International Foundation Year course is designed to prepare international students for a successful career in a management position within the construction sector. Structure
The course consists of a foundation year (called Year 0) followed by three years of undergraduate study. The foundation year is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their undergraduate studies.

- Foundation Statistics and Data Science: Gain an introduction to statistics and data science, developing key theoretical, practical, and numerical skills.
- Foundation Economics - Microeconomics and Macroeconomics: Discover how individuals and companies allocate resources and learn models and theories used by economists to understand the performance of the economy.
- An Introduction to Business Management: Develop the ability to think critically and argue persuasively in business and management contexts.
- Introduction to Sociology and Topics in Sociology: Study the idea of sociology as a science and develop an understanding of norms and values, socialization, culture, and identity.

- New UK/Republic of Ireland students: £23,000 for 2026/27 Foundation year, then rising to the standard course fees for the duration of bachelor's level study.
